A unique firewood holder inspired by the industry that once employed nearly 25% of all Wisconsinites, back in the 1890’s.
Saint Germain, Minocqua & the surrounding towns were born from the logging industry, along with fur trading, resorts, and sawmills.
Unfortunately, within 10 years of logging, they’d managed to cut down nearly all the old-growth hardwoods. Resort towns were built as settlers fell in love with the area’s beauty.
Today, we enjoy working with a couple of small, locally-owned sawmills for our larger creations at Caged Crow. This firewood holder was built after the idea came, driving behind a logging truck.
